Court records requests

The Clerk of the Circuit Courts is the designated custodian of public records for Blackford County under Indiana's Access to Public Records Act (APRA). Requests for court records, filings, and other public documents can be submitted via email to the address above or by mail to the listed address. Indiana law requires a response within 7 business days. Fees may be charged for copying or certification of records. The clerk's office also handles marriage licenses and child support records.
